More than 2,300 foreign tourists have booked
rooms at hotels and resorts this month on Con Dao Islands off the
southern province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau, up 35 per cent year-on-year,
according to the Con Dao District tourism authorities.
With their pristine seas, the Con Dao Islands are
home to a large number of sea turtles. Every year, between April and
November, their breeding season, thousands of turtles crawl ashore to
lay eggs in the sand, providing a fascinating experience for visitors...
Dozens of music stars, opera singers, dancers and other musicians from
art troupes in HCM City will perform in a gala to highlight the history
and people of Con Dao Islands on August 23 in HCM City.
